Job Description
Job Role: Data Entry Operator
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Salary Range: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000 per annum (Approx. ₹8,300 to ₹12,500 per month)
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Experience Level: Entry-Level / Fresher
Industry: Human Resource Services, Staffing & Recruitment
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Documentation
- Accurately enter data into company systems and software platforms.
- Create, update, and manage spreadsheets and databases.
- Digitize handwritten documents, receipts, and physical forms.
- Verify accuracy of data and rectify any inconsistencies.
- Data Validation & Audits
- Compare entered data with source documents to detect and correct errors.
- Perform routine checks and audits to ensure data integrity.
- Organize and maintain files for future reference.
- Operational Reporting
- Generate and format reports based on collected data.
- Assist with daily/weekly MIS reports as required by senior management.
- Support HR and recruitment teams in compiling metrics and dashboard reports.
- Coordination & Support
- Collaborate with internal departments such as HR, Payroll, Recruitment, and Accounts.
- Respond to internal data requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with field staff and team leads to ensure updates are current.
- Confidentiality & Compliance
- Handle sensitive data with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Adhere to company policies and data protection guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education Qualification: Minimum 12th pass; graduates in any discipline preferred.
- Typing Speed: Minimum 35-40 words per minute.
- Skills:
- Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong data entry and record-keeping ability
