Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the school’s curriculum program.

· Prepare and deliver lectures to senior students on topics covered in chemistry syllabus.

· Evaluate and grade students’ classwork, laboratory work, assignments, and papers.

· Coordinate and supervise laboratory activities to enhance students’ practical skills.

· Participate in faculty and parent meetings and communicate students’ progress.

· Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.

· Encourage students to pursue academic excellence and support their holistic development.

· Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.

Requirement & Skills

· Master’s degree in Chemistry

· Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) is preferred.

· Proven experience as a Chemistry teacher at the CBSE level.

· In-depth knowledge of Chemistry concepts and laboratory practices.

· Lesson planning and classroom management.

· Student assessment and evaluation.

· Effective communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to foster a positive learning environment.

· Collaboration with educational staff and stakeholders.

· Proficiency with educational technology and software.
